Former Governor of old Anambra state Chukwuemeka Ezeife has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s first term as a “comprehensive failure.” Ezeife also called on Buhari to squash his 2019 re-election bid and instead restructure the country.

He added that Buhari’s age was also a factor he should consider just as he has been having health issues. “Let us pray so that God would stop Buhari from talking about a second-term and instead, begin a six-month emergency restructuring of Nigeria,” Ezeife told Punch.
