Former Nigerian International Edema Fuludu, has called on former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, not to return to the National team again.
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rorh is hoping Enyeama will make a come back to the national fold but his efforts to bring back the former Maccabi Tel Aviv custodian has proved abortive.
Fuludu, who is the vice chairman of Delta FA, has however warned Enyeama to forget the idea of a return. Fuludu described Enyeama as one of the best goalkeepers the country has ever produced.
According to him, “Enyeama has done so well for this country. He is one of the best in recent times, but my advice for him is to forget about coming back to the national team.
He has the respect of many Nigerian football fans and to keep that respect he must try as much as possible to be focused and decisive at a time like this.
The only way to keep his respect is to continue with his club football. He has moved on with his career and it should remain so.”
