Barcelona Signs Brazilian Midfielder Paulinho

As the pursuit of Liverpool Midfielder Philipe Coutinho seems to drag on, Barcelona have signed another Brazilian.

The Daily Mail reports that the Spanish giants have completed the signing of José Paulo Bezerra Maciel Júnior popularly known as Paulinho from Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande for a fee of £36.5m.

Paulinho was a former Tottenham Hotspur Midfielder, joining them from Corinthians in 2013 before leaving for China in 2015.
