The All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to meet over comments made by former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar and Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan.
According to Punch, APC National Vice-Chairman, North-East, Mustapha Salihu, confirmed on Friday that The National Working Committee of the party will meet on Monday.
Mama Taraba declared her support for Atiku Abubakar against President Buhari for the presidency in 2019 while Atiku himself alleged that APC has sidelined him despite helping them to victory in 2015.
“This is a national issue. I think by Monday, we will sit and we will address the matter, but I can assure you that there is no cause for alarm. Our party is intact and on ground,” Salihu said.
